Alinare

In Romanian, the verb “a alina” means, “to ease / to alleviate / to allay / to relieve / to comfort / to soothe / to lighten /  to temper  / to set in a row / to solace / to lull (with songs as smooth as lullaby songs)”

“Alinare”, the title of this post, is the noun used with the same meaning as the verb above.

If there is a song, a poem, a video that feels like “Alinare” to my soul, this is it. I know it for a few years, and I just rediscovered it today.

Oh, thank you heaven (and the band Above&Beyond for such a wonderful song Good for me, BBC, youtube 🙂 …i feel like receiving an Oscar now, just for my soul! :p) … thank you all for bringing “Alinare” to my soul …as always, it came in the right moment, when I needed it the most.

and the lyrics…masterpiece….

“To be with you is easy
I know you’re good for me
This feeling inside me
Oh it sends me sky high

To be with you is easy oh baby
I know you’re good for me
This feeling inside me
Oh it sends me sky high

You’re good for me my baby
So good for me my love
You’re good for me my baby
So good for me oh love

To feel for you is easy oh baby
I know you’re good for me
This feeling inside me
Oh it sends me sky high

You’re good for me my baby
So good for me my love
You’re good for me my baby
So good for me oh love”
